The instruction below will guide you on how to Re-Activate an installed e-Capsule™ HD product which has been previously De-Activated. Click here, for instructions on how to De-Activate the e-Capsule™ HD product from a PC on which it has been previously installed and activated. 1. To start the reactivation process, you will need to launch the protect.exe application
located in the folder where the e-Capsule™ HD application is installed.
A Protection System window will open as shown in the example below. Choose Activate or reactivate application and click Next 3. Enter (copy+paste) the Serial Number, then a colon and finally
the Deactivation Code in the required field. For example, if the Serial
Number is: YB-YNYZNN-Q444P-NPX4T4-BT4B4Z and the Deactivation code is: D88Y-8Q8YYY,
then the string that you need to enter is:
If this is not the first time the license has been transferred, i.e. you have already reactivated the application before, the Deactivation Code of the previous reactivation is automatically displayed in the Serial Number field after the colon. Just replace this code with the code generated during the last deactivation. You should have copied the Deactivation Code after deactivating the product last time. 4a. You will be sure that the activation was successful when you see a dialog
window similar to the one showed below:
Click OK. The e-Capsule™ application will start and you will be able to use it without any limitations on the PC that you used during this activation procedure. 4b. If the activation procedure outlined above fails, you will get an Error message
describing the reason of failure, similar to the one below:
5. By clicking OK, a window displaying your Hardware Code will appear
as in the example below:
In this case: Copy and store somewhere the Hardware Code and click Help. 6. A Contact Information window will now open. Click WWW to access
the Web page where you will be able to perform a manual activation of the
product:
In case you are working offline, just make sure to retain a copy of the Serial Number, the Deactivation Code, obtained from last deactivation and the Hardware Code. To complete the manual reactivation procedure you will then need to access the Web page indicated in the Contact Information window using a PC connected to the Internet (in this example the page address is: http://proactive.star-force.com/2.0). In this page, paste the Serial Number,the Deactivation Code and the Hardware Code in the corresponding input fields and click Get Activation Key: You will now be shown a Activation Key. Write down or copy this code Now, to complete the product activation you will just need to click Back in the Contact Information window shown in step 6 above. This will take you back to the Activation window of step 5, where you can now click Next. 7. Paste the Activation Key in the required field and click Activate.
You will be sure that the e-Capsule™ application reactivation was successful when you see a dialog window similar to the one shown in step 4a. After pressing OK, the e-Capsule™ application will start and you will be able to use it without any limitations on the PC that you used during this activation procedure. | ||
